Corporate design is the central medium of corporate communications. It communicates to the outside world and addresses different recipients at the same time. The special challenge when redeveloping the corporate design for GRENKE AG was that numerous country-specific requirements had to be brought together in one design. The result is a graphical, factual and cosmopolitan design.
As part of a redesign, we revised the shades of blue and grey. They now not only suit the company better, but also harmonise better. Where there used to be two fonts and four font styles, there is now just one font with a single font style. Finally, we optimised the word mark with regard to character spacing, adjusted the design and reduced it to one font style.
A complete corporate design does not only include the optimisation of the design, but also the knowledge that it will work on the desired material. In light of this, we prepared press proofs on different types of paper. A further important requirement was that the paper must be available all over the world and in the required grammages and must be suitable for different printing methods. The result is a quality product that is uniform worldwide.
The company was founded by Wolfgang Grenke in 1978 and gradually evolved into a group of companies that operates in 33 countries all over the world. The company focuses primarily on financial solutions in the areas of leasing, banking and factoring for small and medium-sized companies.
