“Form follows function” – this guiding principle is quoted in numerous interviews with designers and architects. To us, it means that the appearance always follows the content and purpose. This is why we design systematically. We revised the corporate design of GRENKE AG and set down the design guidelines in a CD manual, according to the principle “as rigid as necessary and as flexible as possible”.
A company’s corporate design should always look the same and achieve the same effect regardless of the medium and where it is used. Ensuring this requires more than just writing down the corresponding guidelines in text form. We explain and visualise them with simple and clear examples of use. This way, every designer can see how the company’s corporate design works and can develop new media within the design guidelines.
The company was founded by Wolfgang Grenke in 1978 and gradually evolved into a group of companies that operates in 33 countries all over the world. The company focuses primarily on financial solutions in the areas of leasing, banking and factoring for small and medium-sized companies.
